For you the approach of Satyananda/Bihar Yoga is extremely suitable. This system of Yoga incorporates practices derived from ancient and traditional sources. The physical practices of body postures (Asana, Mudra & Bandha) and breathing practices (Pranayama) initially focus on gently removing tension and blocked energy from the joints, muscles, and organs. The practice concludes with deep relaxation using the Yoga Nidra technique. These private classes will safely prepare your body and mind for more advanced practices.
